"Calling My Blessings Ashore" by: Jason Wright

I count my blessings be they one or just a few,

I count them early in the day for after there is so much I must do.

Like the leaves of fall they burst forth and then in my mind seem to be no more,

I must recall my blessings before me each day and them I will adore.

I must count my blessings whether they be one or four,

They are here today but from my mind will surely drift away like sands on the shore.

The tide of my blessings I shall call in,

There they are. For another day I will ponder them and then let my day begin.
